About the artist

Stephen Rue is a well-respected New Orleans attorney and artist. You may know Stephen Rue as "Mr. Big Stuff", character of the Zulu Social Aid & Pleasure Club. Stephen is the first Caucasian bestowed this honor in Zulu History. As an Artist, Stephen Rue's Art has been acclaimed on Louisiana Home & Garden Magazine's "Hot List" and named an "Earthly Delight!" Stephen Rue has become one of the most collected and acclaimed New Orleans Artists of 2011, with his original works steadily increasing in value. Rue's original artworks are often commissioned by collectors of George Rodrigue, James Michalopoulos, Bill Hemmerling and others. Rue is the Artist for the Official 2011 WYES Art Collection 12 Fine Art Prints, the Official 2011 Jefferson Parish "Family Gras" Poster, the featured Artist for the Louisiana SPCA Paws for Dinner Event and the 2011 Official Bayou Boogaloo Music Festival Poster.
